Applying for a Student Visa
Prospective international students intending to study in Australia must obtain a student visa from an Australian Diplomatic Mission in their home country before departing for Australia.

Documentation that you require from EIBT before you can apply for a student visa is:

  • A Letter of Offer from EIBT
  • An electronic Confirmation of Enrolment from EIBT and one of the three South Australian Universities if you are applying for a package visa

Applying for a Work Permit
International students may work up to twenty hours per week while studying in Australia and forty hours per week during semester breaks.

Students can only apply for a work permit after their program commencement date. Please visit the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website to obtain an application form. The 157P - Application for a student visa with permission to work form can be found here.
